Mrs. Helen Jones of 410 S. Grant Ave. died Friday evening at Culver Hospital after being in poor health for six weeks. A resident of Montgomery County all her life, she was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, St. John’s Episcopal Guild, Montgomery County Historical Society, Culver Hospital Auxiliary and Animal Welfare League. She was born to John and Rebecca Long Scott in Crawfordsville. She married Harry Goode Teague, who preceded her in death in 1937. In 1946 she married Grover C. Jones in Anderson. Survivors include the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Selberg of LaJolla, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Miss Frances E. Jones of Crawfordsville; a step-son, Charles R. Jones of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Edwin S. Broussard of Mt. Vale, N. J., Louis A. Broussard of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. William L. Zolnay of Shaver Lake, Calif., and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank L. Scott and two sisters, Minnie Schlater and Nanette S. Jackson. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bright and Burkhart Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Potter officiating. Burial will be in Oak. Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. – jlr
